Visit Historic Lamphun, Eat with Locals in the Countryside and Cook Northern-Style Dinner

Lamphun was the second Lanna capital and it's more than 1,300 years old. You'll learn more about the Lanna culture, including the local way of life, Buddhist customs and food. We'll lunch with Lamphun locals and cook easy dinner like northerners at my home.

Pick you up from your hotel (within 3 km from Chiang Mai Old City) and continue to Lamphun on the historic route lined with more than 900 Yang Na trees.

When we arrive in Lamphun, we'll visit the famous temple Wat Phra That Hariphunchai. This temple is approximately 1,121 years old with Lanna-style golden pagoda.
After that, we will visit Mae Tha Local Market to learn how Lamphun locals trade and see their goods from the forests. Here, you can try some
local food such as insects and others.
Then we will visit a local village in the area. Meet the locals, visit their garden and have lunch with them.

After lunch, we will continue to the handicraft village Baan Don Luang, where clothes have been made of cotton by hand for more than 200 years.

Drive back to Chiang Mai. On the way we will stop and buy some ingredients for cooking at a local market. Then we will cook easy local-style dinner together at my home. Then relax in the organic fruit garden
