Province of region Central Thailand

The province of Saraburi, located in the heart of Thailand, is also a province that is not very frequented by foreign tourists. Close to Bangkok, it offers a nature and countryside escape to travelers looking for cultural discoveries and outdoor adventures.

Among the visits to make in Saraburi, we will note the Wat Phra Phutthabat temple where beautiful ceremonies take place for the major Buddhist festivals of the Thai calendar and in particular that of Ok Phansa which marks the end of the Buddhist lent. It is a rather rural province, popular with Thais for a short getaway to the countryside from Bangkok. At the start of winter, they come in large numbers to see its sunflower fields.
