Province of region Eastern Thaïlande
Prachinburi, located east of Bangkok, is a Thai province that captivates with its abundant nature, preserved national parks and rich cultural heritage. Easily accessible from the capital, this region offers a natural getaway not far from Bangkok, accessible by car or train.
Prachinburi province is one of the gateways to Khao Yai National Park although most visitors enter through Pak Chong district in Nakhon Ratchasima province. This is not the only interesting national park in Prachinburi. Thap Lan National Park is also famous. Thais like to come to Prachinburi for white water rafting trips. Personally, in town, I like to go to the Chaophraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital, a large traditional medicine hospital practicing massages and herbal medicine with a large pharmacy of natural remedies. You can follow consultations in English.
