Every year around Songkran, motorcycle enthusiasts meet in Phuket for a week of machine shows, activities for beach lovers, a Miss Phuket Bike Week competition, concerts on the beach And a '' Ride for Peace ''. Most activities on Patong Beach and in nearby Loma Park. Concerts, barbecues and a gastronomic fair make it a family event and there are many kiosks selling motorcycle products, including helmets, leather goods and clothing. Phuket Bike Week is now one of the largest motorcycle races in Asia with more than 10,000 motorcycles and 50,000 visitors from over 30 countries.
