Held annually in Cha-Am, the Kin Hoi Nok Tok Doo Muek Festival (literally eating shellfish, bird watching, catching squid) offers visitors to eat any kind of seafood including squid in many area at that time. This is also the time when the migratory birds stop here. Boat trips to watch the birds are offered for a very good price. The festival lasts nine days.
