Information about Bangkok River Festival
The Bangkok River Festival is held annually in November around Loy Krathong and is dedicated to the Chao Phraya River that runs through Bangkok. It usually takes place in 7 places:
- Wat Arun
- Wat Po (Reclining Buddha Temple)
- Asiatique The Riverfront
- Yodpiman River Walk
- Tha Maharaj
- Wat Prayoon
Wat Kalayanamitra
For the occasion, a free shuttle baots service runs between the different locations (4pm - 10 pm). Cultural shows, live music, food stalls and other activities. Another way to discover Bangkok and its river.
