From Bangkok, you can go to Ranong by plane with Nok Air or by bus. From Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai), it takes about 8-9 hours to go to Ranong (you can book your tickets online here). To leave Ranong, you can fly with Nok Air or take a bus to go to the South, Phuket, Krabi, Surat Thani or Hat Yai or go to Bangkok (you can buy your tickets to Bangkok online here) and end up at Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal.
