Backpackers who like cheap guest houses will be more happy in Cha Am than in Hua Hin where the standard and prices are higher. The least expensive rooms in Cha-Am are mainly located in Soi Bus Station and the surrounding streets. But if you are used to go to bed early, avoid Soi Bus Station. It is very busy at night.
