This house teak was built between 1897 and 1907 in European style Gingerbread for Luang Phongphibun who hold a teak concession in the city and his wife Chao Sunantha. The house was also inhabited by the last prince of Phrae. If part of the house is still occupied by his descendants, today it is now a museum with teak antiques from the late 19th century, documents, including slaves concessions in the early 20th century, pictures and other objects of the time when the teak trade was flourishing in the province.
The white and pink house is one of the most remarkable old houses in the city of Phrae.
