The Secret Buddha Garden of Koh Samui has several names. We now find a lot on the panels, the name
Magic Garden and sometimes
Tarnim Magic Garden. It is a small private garden owned by a retired durian producer Khun Nim Thongsuk who started to build it in 1976 at the age of 77 and continued until his death at the age of 91 years. The site features many statues of Buddha and other figures of Thai Buddhism carved and a pair of statues of the parents of the founder as well as a statue representing him holding the hand of his father. The garden is a pleasant setting with small waterfalls but is often very crowded which makes its visit less pleasant due to its small size.
By coming or going, I invite you to stop at Giant Summit, a restaurant with a superb view.
