Presentation

The Royal Park Rajapruek was built to commemorate the 60th anniversary of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Accession to the throne as well as His Majesty 80th birthday. This large floral and botanical park has an incalculable number of plants and flowers and a nice orchids garden. You will also find a large driveway leading to the very refined Ho Kham Luang Royal Pavilion.

The park hosts many events, including on New Year's Eve or Loy Krathong in November and a floral festival from December to February. If you love beautiful gardens, visiting this park should please you! Of course, there are seasons when Royal Park Rajapruek is more beautiful and flowery than others. The best time to visit it is from December to February.

Practical information about Royal Park Rajapruek

Royal Park Rajapruek welcomes visitors every day from 9am to 6pm.

Entrance fee : 200 baht for adult and 150 baht for children
There is a tram service to go around the park which is very large: 20 Baht for adults and 10 Baht for children
Alternatively, you can rent a golf carr or a bicycle.
There is also no public transport to come from Chiang Mai, so you will have to hire a tuk-tuk, a taxi or a red car or be have your own transportation. The park is around 12 km from Chiang Mai city
