Visit Khao Bin Cave (Ratchaburi)

Khao Bin Cave is a large limestone cave located about 20 km from the city of Ratchaburi. Its cavity, gradually formed by the action of water, extends about 300 meters deep into the mountain and features several chambers with stalactite and stalagmite formations. It is the most famous cave in the province, which has a few of them.

The cave was developed as a tourist attraction by the Royal Forest Department in 1980. The site's development notably allowed for the creation of paths, resting points, and the addition of multi-colored lighting for a pleasant visit. Water infiltration dissolved the rock and widened the cracks to form the current galleries and chambers. The stalactites and stalagmites formed progressively through the deposition of calcium carbonate.
