Information about Chiang Mai Flower Festival
The Chiang Mai Flower Festival is held every year on the 1st weekend of February and lasts for 3 days. The high point of the festival is floral parade on Saturday morning. It leaves from the station and continues to Nawarat bridge (where there are bleachers) and ends at Nong Buak Hat Park. In the park there is a fair for the occasion where you can get a massage under the trees. There is also a stage where you can attend concerts and Miss Flower Festival election. Thanon Arak and Thanon Bamrungburi streets around the park are partly closed for a market with many food stalls.
On the place in front of Thapae Gate, there are concerts and little shows performed by children of Chiang Mai schools.
