There are buses from Bangkok to Yasothon. Otherwise, there are regular bus services from Ubon Ratchathani, Si Saket, Khon Kaen and even Roi Et and you also have 2 buses per day from Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima). The train does not go to Yasothon, the nearest train station is in Ubon Ratchathani. You will then have to take the bus to Yasothon by joining the Ubon Ratchathani bus terminal.
