Located on Doi Suthep Road, Suan Dok temple consists of a multitude of chedis. The main one has a gilded with gold leaf and airy Wihaan. This is not the most interesting temple to visit Chiang Mai but it has a chat with the monks program (Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.). And they also offer meditation sessions (every Wednesday and the last Friday of each month). More information on the website www.monkchat.net

The easiest way to get to Wat Suan Dok in Chiang Mai at a low price is to take one of the red cars that circulate in the city. You tell the driver your destination before sitting at the back. The price is unique (last known price for foreigners = 40 THB). Otherwise, if you are on the route or not far from the Smart Bus R3 line, it marks the stop at the temple.
