The most interesting building of Wat Phra Narai Maharat is on an island (populated by many cats) on a small pond. It houses a sandstone statue of Vishnu (Phra Narai) which explain its name. Although Vishnu is an Hindu god, the staute is highly venerated. you reach the temple by crossing a small bridge.
On the other side, it is dogs kingdom. They will surely bark at you with insistance as soon as you will approach the beginning of the bridge to the island. In this section, there is a wooden building, a temple and a chedi.
