Departure from ABC (Amazing Bangkok Cyclist) office near Phrom Phong BTS station at 1 pm.
This bike tour in Bangkok will bring you to explore the backstreets of the city when it comes alive, people are setting up their shops, and when street vendors are offering local breakfast.
You will see the local daily life in Bangkok, pass an old squeaky wooden bridge, and explore communities built under the highway and next to the railway.
You will cross the Chao Praya river with a longtail boat and arrive in the green heart of Bangkok. Bang Krachao is a lush area with many old plantations. The city of Bangkok feels so far away while you are cycling here over elevated pathways and occasionally spot monitor lizard or turtle bathing in the sun.
You will stop in this serene area to sit down and enjoy a cold soft drink with a snack before boarding back on the long tail boat, cross the river where you can experience a stunning and completely different view of Bangkok’s high-rise buildings and cycle back to ABC office.
End of the bike tour at 5 pm
Note that ABC offers exactly the same tour but in the morning (8 am to 12 pm). I recommend you to pick the morning tour, the weather will be less hot and the streets you will visit are more interesting in the morning. Check the ABC morning bike tour here !
