2 days and 1 night excursion to discover the jewels of Khao Sok and its lake
Semi-private tour to Khao Sok from Ao Nang/Krabi (2 days)
This 2 day and 1 night tour in a local village is a nice little summary of all that is most beautiful in Khao Sok, its lake with its limestone peaks of course, its caves, its natural swimming pool and its hilltop temple which offers incredible views. If you only have to choose one excursion in Khao Sok, I recommend this one!

This tour is offered from Krabi or Ao nang, for another starting point, ask for a quote.
Day 1
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel around 9 a.m.
Direction to Khao Sok National Park with, en route, a visit to a Buddhist complex with several perched elements which is one of my big favorites, the site and the views from the different elements are superb!
Then, you will go and cool off in a very pretty natural swimming pool. The water is fresh and clear, the place is frequented mainly by Thai families. You can also take a nice trip on the river in a rowing boat (with a rower provided if you wish)
Lunch in a local restaurant then river descent from Khao Sok on a bamboo raft.
Your driver will then drop you off at your hotel in Ban Tha Khun, a few kilometers from the Chiew Lan lake dam, the famous Khao Sok lake.
Day 2
Your driver will pick you up in the morning and drop you off at the pier of Khao Sok Lake. You will explore it in a traditional longtail boat and admire the magnificent karst peaks planted in the water, including the 3 most famous, the 3 Brothers (nothing to do with the iconnus film ;)).
You will sail on the lake, then you will stop to visit a superb cave before taking the boat again and joining the floating restaurant which will welcome you for lunch. There you can also swim and kayak.
Return to the pier where your driver will collect you to take you back to Krabi or to the destination decided in advance (possible supplement or reduction depending on the distance).
