To go to Bang Saphan ?
There is only one bus company that stops in the Bang Saphan Yai city itself. This is bus number 66 from the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok. The other buses will deposit you on the highway 15 km from th city and you will have to complete your trip with a motorbike taxi ride. Otherwise, the most practical, even if it is always late, is to go to Bang Saphan by train. The train station is in the city. The beaches are 5 or 6 kilometers from the city. After getting off the train motorcycle taxis will be waiting to offer their services just in front of the station. The ride to the beach costs around 100 baht.Direct trains to Bang Saphan

IMPORTANT: from 19th January 2023, 52 trains leave or arrive in Bangkok at brand new Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station, the other ones will still depart and arrive in Hua Lamphong Station (until next step to move all trains to the new Bangkok railway station). Similarly for coming to Bang Saphan Yai there is only one company whose buses leave from Bang Saphan Yai itself. They depart from the bus stop located in the the train station street opposite Rama Inn hotel. Ask Bang Saphan Tour Co. (032 699 043) or cal the bus station (032 691 267) for timetables. Just know that there are approximatly a bus every 1:45 hour. The first bus leaves Bang Saphan Yai at 6 am. Otherwise, you can leave the city by train.
