The announcement of this new regulation was made by the Office of the Prime Minister. International airports terminal and entertainment venues, (bars, restaurants, night clubs…), are not concerned by this restriction. They have their own laws regarding the hours they can sell alcohol. Any violation of this new law will be punished by six months prison and / or a fine of 10,000 baht.
