Khon Kaen Airport closed until further notice

Thai Airways flight TG 047 with 246 passengers on board skidded off the runway in Khon Kaen yesterday at 8:50 pm. The flight was scheduled to leave Khon Kaen Airport for Suvarnabhumi. Fortunately, no passengers were hurt.

As a result, Khon Kaen Airport will be closed until further notice. The airline has also apologized for the inconvenience.
