Thailand gives Chinese free visa
The debate existed forlong, Thailand has decided to waive visa fee to visit the Kingdom for Chinese and Taiwanese visitors for a period of three months starting from 1 August . The goal is to support tourism and help it recover from the imoportant slowdown caused by the political instability in Thailand.

The National Council for the peace and order of the country confirmed the decision last week‘s. The NCPO agreed to waive visa fees both Chinese and Taiwanese tourists from 1 August to 31 October, allowing them to save the 1.000 baht they would normally pay for a visa.
China and Taiwan are the main tourism markets in Thailand. Last year, the kingdom welcomed 4.7 million Chinese tourists and 503,157 Taiwanese, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
