Updated list of curfew-free destinations in Thailand

After 3 annoucements indicating that the curfew is lifted in some tourist destinations in Thailand, here’s the list of all parts of the country where there is more curfew. This post will be updated after each new announcement.

- Phetchaburi
- Phrae
- Phuket
- Ratchaburi
- Rayong (Koh Samet)
- Roi et
- Sakhon Nakhon
- Satun
- Sukhothai
- Surin
- Tak
- Trang
- Trat
- Uttaradit
DISTRICTS/CITIES:
- Pattaya City in Chonburi Province
- Hua Hin District in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province
- Haty Yai District in Songkhla Province
- Sadao District in Songkhla Province
- Songkhla City in Songkhla Province
- Samui District in Surat Thani Province
- Koh Phangan District in Surat Thani Province
In the rest of Thailand, it is still forbidden to go in the streets from midnight to 4 am. Exceptions are accepted for emergencies and for travelers who need to go to or come from the airport during the curfew’s time (travel documents needed to prove it). It is also advisable to have always your passport with you, especially in Bangkok.
Rumors of lifting the curfew in other destinations, including Chiang Mai, circulate. But for now only the cities and islands mentioned in the list above are concerned.
