Tourist court opened in Bangkok

After Pattaya and Phuket, Bangkok also has its court which will specifically handle disputes involving tourists. it  opened on Friday.

Bangkok’s first tourist courtroom opened on Friday at Pathumwan Municipal Court. It aims to deliver quick and fair rulings in cases involving tourists visiting Thailand. More tourist courts are expected to be opened in 15 other popular tourist destinations nationwide, the Office of the Judiciary secretary-general said.

So far, 22 cases in Pattaya and 184 cases in Phuket had been lodged with the tourist court.
