Monkeys war soon in Thailand?
There are several towns and villages in Thailand invaded by hordes of monkeys that complicate a lot the life of the inahbitants. People often speak of Lopburi where cohabitation between human beings and monkeys is not going taht bad but there are other places where it is a lot worse . An idea has emerged : train monkeys to scare other monkeys. So Thailand will maybe launch the first war monkeys orchestrated by Man…

Authorities have decided to create a “kingdom of primates” with the confiscated animals, in effect “evidence” in court cases, that have been brought to the Kabok Koo Beast Feeding Center in Chachoengsao province. The center also plans to train some monkeys to become “police”. They will help their human counterparts in their work. Wut which offenders will they fight? Other primates. Those who “create troubles for residents like those in Lop Buri and Khao Chong Krajok in Prachuap Khiri Kan” who “over time become emboldened and start ransacking houses. Some people even moved away because of them” says Teerapat Prayoonsit , Director General of department of National Parks. Disruptive monkeys are mainly long-tailed macaques which are small , intelligent and are afraid of their cousins pig-tailed macaques (those trained to pick coconuts in the South of thailand) . The plan is to train pig-tailed macaques to scare long-tailed macaques. Once they graduate (yes, monkeys also need graduation to find a job !), they will be released near communities abused by long-tailed macaques. And should scare them away or at least keep them at distance.
