Manchester United Tour 2013 in Thailand
Manchester United will begin their 2013 pre-season tour in Thailand on 13th July against the Singha All Star XI at Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok (8 P.M.). Then they go down-under all the way to Sydney to face the A-League All-Stars.
United’s first visit to Thailand was in 1975 and the club has returned a further three times for pre-season friendlies. With an absence of 12 years, the team is looking forward to returning to the football-enthusiastic country. Manchester United chief executive David Gill said: “Our visit to Thailand in July plays an important role in the team’s pre-season preparations for the season ahead, as well as enables the club to engage with some of its global fans and commercial partners. There are over 19.5 million Manchester United followers in Thailand and the club has been lucky enough to visit on a number of occasions. The game will be the first match of the Manchester United 2013 Tour, presented by Aon, and we are all looking forward to a great game.”
