On road 4169 that goes to Wat Khunaram, this small temple welcomes you with a large decorated gate. The chapel filled with Buddha statues is probably its most interesting asset.
Practical information about Wat Samret
Free access
How to get to Wat Samret ?
It should be possible to be dropped off not far from the entrance to Wat Samret with Samui's songthaews (shared taxis), but it's obviously still more practical to have your own transportation or hire a taxi or VTC.
Wat Samret is a temple and when you visit a temple in Thailand there are some rules to know and follow :
Dress properly (knees and shoulders should be covered)
Take off your shoes when entering the buildings
Be quiet
Don't hug or kiss
Don't point your feet to Buddha's image
Don't smoke
