Visit Thung Khai Botanic Garden (Canopy Walkway) (Trang)

Located a little outside Trang city in the Thung Khai district, the Thung Khai Botanical Garden is best known for its set of suspension bridges that allow you to walk high along the treetops. They rise on 3 levels and go on a distance of 175 meters for a height ranging from 10 to 18 meters. It's a nice walk to do! Nici, if you don't have vertigo ;) The park area consists of evergreen forest, swampy areas and low hills covering an area of about 2,600 rai.

Trang Botanical Garden will appeal to tourists who are interested in ecology, nature and plants. In addition to the suspension bridges in the canopy, there is a visitor center, arboretum, herb garden, botanical library, plant museum, meeting hall, and a camping area. There is also a nature study trail that offers several routes.

The trail that passes by the ''canopy walkway'' extends over 3 kilometers and makes a loop. I couldn't do it completely because the area after the canopy walkway was being redeveloped but it's a good 20 minute walk from the entrance to the suspension bridges of the Canopy Walkway and I think 1 hour the full tour.
