Visit Ao Manao (Prachuap Khiri Khan)

Ao Manao Beach (manao means Lemon in Thai) is inside a military base. This does not prevent it from being open to the public. Located 5 km from the city center, this is the nicest swimming beach in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Wedged between two mountains, it is very quiet during the week but a lot more rowded on weekends and holidays when many Thais come here. Then all the area comes alive with food centers, shops, long chair rental shops and large knotted rental shops and activitty centers.
There is also a nearby golf course right next to the airplane runway and an area that is called Historical Park and mainly showw some old planes and a little further at the bottom of Khao Lom Muak mount that offers an amazing view but that you can only climb a few days per year, you will find a monkey monument with very cute Duksy Langur monkeys which are really not afraid of humans at all.
