Warning, this trek is only available 4 months, from November to February, when the park is open to the public.
On the 1st day, after 1h30 drive, you will arrive at Chiang Dao National Park. On the way, you can already discover the superb landscapes of this special mountain range.
As the summit is in a conservation area, entry is subject to many regulations. After all the necessary checks, you will drive with the rangers for another 1 hour to reach our starting point.
The path taken, the last authorized to climb up there, crosses the entire mountain range on a plateau surrounded by cliffs and peaks. There is a total elevation of 1km to climb.
At the top, the reward! A long, beautiful view of a series of steep peaks and high hills. The sunsets up there are often incredible. This is one of the most beautiful mountain scenery in Thailand!After dusk you will descend in the dark, we will drive down to the campsite to spend the night there in a tent.< /p>
On the 2nd day, wake up before sunrise to climb to another summit offering a unique setting. Finally, it's time to go back down the same path to our starting point. The last descent will be the only difficult part of the day. It's steep and slippery. We will be careful with our feet to avoid falling. Happy (a lot) and tired (a little), a taxi will be waiting for you taxi to take you back to Chiang Mai.
