Peu connu des touristes \u00e9trangers et tr\u00e8s peu pr\u00e9sent dans les brochures et au programme des tour operators, le temple du Phanom Rung<\/strong><\/a>, bien qu\u2019en Tha\u00eflande, est un des plus beaux temples khmers du monde. L\u2019all\u00e9e pav\u00e9e qui m\u00e8ne \u00e0 l\u2019escalier qui y acc\u00e8de est juste magnifique !<\/p>\n

\"Phanom<\/p>\n

Il est vrai que le parc historique du Phanom Rung<\/strong> est situ\u00e9 en Isan, r\u00e9gion au Nord-Est de Bangkok qui est la moins touristique de Tha\u00eflande.<\/p>\n

Vestige de l\u2019empire khmer, install\u00e9 sur un volcan \u00e9teint, le temple a \u00e9t\u00e9 magnifiquement restaur\u00e9 et s\u2019il n\u2019a pas le prestige d\u2019Angkor Wat au Cambodge<\/a>, il reste un magnifique exemple de l\u2019architecture cambodgienne de l\u2019\u00e9poque.<\/p>\n

Et vous ne trouverez pas au Cambodge de temple avec une aussi belle all\u00e9e pav\u00e9e termin\u00e9e par un escalier.<\/p>\n

\"Buriram<\/p>\n

Les amateurs de \u00ab vieilles pierres \u00bb appr\u00e9cieront cette visite qu\u2019on leur conseille de coupler avec celle du Prasat Muang Tham<\/strong><\/a> pas tr\u00e8s loin, petit temple khmer entour\u00e9 de bassins joliment restaur\u00e9. Et si possible d\u2019ajouter une \u00e9tape \u00e0 Phimai<\/strong> et son temple dans la ville, en venant ou repartant.<\/p>\n

\"Muang<\/p>\n

En plus, la construction du temple ne doit rien au hasard car tout a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait pour qu\u2019\u00e0 des moments bien pr\u00e9cis de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, le soleil se l\u00e8ve et se couche dans l\u2019alignement parfait des 15\u00a0portes du Phanom Rung<\/strong>. Un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne qui attire beaucoup de photographes et donne souvent lieu \u00e0 une procession (voir notre article \u00ab Le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne du Phanom Rung<\/a> \u00bb)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Le temple du Phanom Rung<\/strong> se trouve dans la province de Buriram<\/strong> mais je vous conseille plut\u00f4t de s\u00e9journer \u00e0 Nang Rong, plus proche.
