Quand on vous dit “Temple blanc en Tha\u00eflande”<\/em>, vous r\u00e9pondez “Chiang Ra\u00ef”<\/em> et vous avez raison, mais ce n’est pas le seul temple blanc du pays, il y en a un autre \u00e0 Nan.<\/p>\n

Le temple blanc le plus r\u00e9put\u00e9 de Tha\u00eflande est sans conteste le\u00a0Wat Rong Khun<\/strong><\/a> \u00e0 quelques kilom\u00e8tres de Chiang Ra\u00ef<\/strong><\/a>, construit par un artiste tha\u00eflandais millionnaire, il est \u00e0 la fois fascinant, effrayant et amusant. Pos\u00e9 sur un lac artificiel, c’est assur\u00e9ment un des temples les plus \u00e9tonnants du pays m\u00eame si c’est un temple sans moines mais avec beaucoup de touristes \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Mais ce n’est pas le seul temple blanc. Le Wat Ming Muang de Nan<\/strong> est aussi tout blanc. Enfin pas tout \u00e0 fait. Le to\u00eet reste couvert de tuiles rouges mais pour le reste il est tout blanc. De dimensions plus modestes que son homologue de Chiang Ra\u00ef<\/strong>, c’est un vrai temple fonctionnel quand le Wat Rong Khun<\/strong> est avant tout une oeuvre d’art comme le dit lui-m\u00eame son cr\u00e9ateur.<\/p>\n

Si le Wat Ming Muang<\/strong> est moins impressionnant, a des courbes moins raffin\u00e9es, il ne manque pas d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat avec ses jolis reliefs, notamment sur les arr\u00eates de ses to\u00eets et sur ses murs ext\u00e9rieurs.<\/p>\n
