{"id":200,"date":"2013-03-22T08:23:38","date_gmt":"2013-03-22T08:23:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/blog\/?page_id=200"},"modified":"2015-06-04T09:22:52","modified_gmt":"2015-06-04T07:22:52","slug":"walking-street-en-thailande","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/blog\/index.php\/200-walking-street-en-thailande","title":{"rendered":"Les Walking Streets en Tha\u00eflande"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>S&#8217;il y a bien deux modes qui ont le vent en poupe en Tha\u00eflande en ce moment, ce sont les Floating markets, march\u00e9s flottants qui n&#8217;ont plus grand-chose \u00e0 voir avec leurs anc\u00eatres traditionnels et sont plus des centres commerciaux au d\u00e9cor moins aust\u00e8re et aux produits un plus artisanaux, et les Walking Streets.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/blog\/images\/walking-street-krabi.jpg\" alt=\"Walking Street Thailande\" width=\"560\" height=\"374\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">La Walking Street de Krabi (photo : <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Thailandee.com<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Mais une <strong>Walking Stree<\/strong>t, kezako ? Une rue pi\u00e9tonne ? Oui mais pas que. Pour avoir une d\u00e9finition la plus large possible qui couvre aussi les Walking Street de <strong><a href=\"\/villes\/pattaya.php\" hreflang=\"fr\">Pattaya<\/a> <\/strong>et <strong>Phuket<\/strong>, je serai tent\u00e9 de dire que c&#8217;est une rue pi\u00e9tonne o\u00f9 il y a \u00e0 boire et \u00e0 manger, au figur\u00e9 \u00e0 Patong et <strong>South Pattaya<\/strong> et au sens propre ailleurs et o\u00f9 vous trouvez\u00a0aussi parfois des souvenirs \u00e0 ramener chez soi (et \u00e7a finalement, \u00e7a s&#8217;applique aux deux types de Walking Street ;)).<\/p>\n<p>Plus s\u00e9rieusement, les <strong>Walking Streets<\/strong> dont je veux parler ici, ce sont ces rues qui se ferment \u00e0 la circulation en d\u00e9but de soir\u00e9e vers 16h en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et se remplissent de stands, de vendeurs et de clients. Il y a toujours des \u00e9tales qui proposent de la nourriture, sal\u00e9, sucr\u00e9e, viande, poisson, brochettes de toutes sortes, nouilles grill\u00e9es, sushis ect&#8230; qui c\u00f4toient parfois des vendeurs de produits artisanaux, v\u00eatements, CD, DVD&#8230; Et l\u00e0 , vous allez me dire : <em>&#8220;Mais c&#8217;est un march\u00e9 de nuit en fait, ton truc de Walking Street !&#8221;<\/em>. Et bien, je serai assez tent\u00e9 de r\u00e9pondre par l&#8217;affirmative.<\/p>\n<p>La diff\u00e9rence, c&#8217;est que le night market, se tient tous les jours quand la Walking Street, plus fain\u00e9ante, n&#8217;a lieu que quelques jours par semaine, souvent\u00a0un seul soir hebdomadairement. Et ne croyez pas que c&#8217;est une invention pour les touristes. Non, les farangs sont tr\u00e8s minoritaires parmi la foule qui fr\u00e9quentent les Walking Streets &#8220;traditionnelles&#8221; sauf peut-\u00eatre \u00e0 Chaweng \u00e0 <a href=\"\/villes\/koh-samui.php\" hreflang=\"fr\">Koh Samui<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Quoiqu&#8217;il en soit, ce sont de bons endroits pour fl\u00e2ner et aller grignoter sur le pouce, voir composer enti\u00e8rement son d\u00eener. Le concept prolif\u00e8re et vous en trouverez pratiquement dans toutes les grandes et moyennes villes.
