L&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e9ment marquant qui lui donne son nom actuel est son chedi ancien, en partie effondr\u00e9, construit au 14 et 15\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. Il est le cadre d&#8217;un spectacle de lumi\u00e8re qui chaque soirs lui restitue sa pointe manquante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le chedi du Wat Chedi Luang \u00e0 Chiang Mai<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Situ\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;arri\u00e8re du hall d&#8217;ordination, le chedi a vu sa construction d\u00e9buter en 1391 sous les ordres du roi Saen Muang Ma qui voulait y enfermer les cendres de son p\u00e8re. Mais ce n&#8217;est qu&#8217;en 1475 sous le r\u00e8gne du roi Tilokarat que l&#8217;\u00e9difice a \u00e9t\u00e9 achev\u00e9. Il atteignait alors une hauteur d&#8217;environ 80 m\u00e8tres selon les estimations et une largeur de 44 m\u00e8tres, ce qui en faisait, \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque, la plus grande structure de la ville de Chiang Mai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1545, un violent tremblement de terre entra\u00eena la destruction de la partie sup\u00e9rieure du chedi. Une bonne trentaine de m\u00e8tres du sommet se sont effondr\u00e9s et n&#8217;ont jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 reconstruits m\u00eame au cours de la restauration du monument \u00e0 la fin du 20\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. Le chedi actuel culmine \u00e0 40 m\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/chiang-mai-wat-chedi-luang-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18588\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/chiang-mai-wat-chedi-luang-2.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/chiang-mai-wat-chedi-luang-2-602x401.jpg 602w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><figcaption>Le Wat Chedi Luang \u00e0 Chiang Mai<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Le chedi est donc d\u00e9capit\u00e9 mais <strong>gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie, il retrouve chaque soir son sommet manquant un peu comme un fant\u00f4me du pass\u00e9 qui appara\u00eet gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un jeu de lumi\u00e8res.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le chedi retrouve son sommet manquant !<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>C&#8217;est gr\u00e2ce au travail de l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 Chiang Mai que le Phra que Chedi Luang ressuscite chaque soir en retrouvant sa forme compl\u00e8te. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour rendre les reliques compl\u00e8tes, c&#8217;est une lumi\u00e8re laser qui remplit la zone de la pagode manquante. Deux techniques sont utilis\u00e9es. La cartographie de projection dans la cr\u00e9ation d&#8217;un mouvement anim\u00e9 et la conception d&#8217;\u00e9clairage pour cr\u00e9er une atmosph\u00e8re et une sensation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4 r\u00e9surrections de chedi de Chiang Mai par soir<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chaque dimanche soir de ce mois d&#8217;ao\u00fbt et de septembre 2022<\/strong>, le chedi coiffera l&#8217;ombre artificielle de son sommet entre 20h et 22h avec 4 rounds de jeux de lumi\u00e8re de 30 minutes qui se succ\u00e8dent (entr\u00e9e libre).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J&#8217;imagine qu&#8217;ils ont choisis le dimanche car le Wat Chedi Luang se tient \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la <strong><a href=\"\/a-voir\/sunday-walking-street-chiang-mai-262\">Sunday Walking Street de Chiang Mai<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Activit\u00e9s et excursions et treks \u00e0 Chiang Mai <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si vous \u00eates \u00e0 Chiang Mai pendant cette p\u00e9riode ou apr\u00e8s, allez jetez un oeil \u00e0 ma s\u00e9lection d&#8217;activit\u00e9s et <a href=\"\/excursions-activites\/excursions-activites-a-chiang-mai\">excursions \u00e0 Chiang Mai<\/a> dont des treks.
