We were numerous to\u00a0regret\u00a0Suan Lum Night Bazaar<\/strong> that closed 5 years ago and was certainly\u00a0the best night market in Bangkok<\/strong>. Good news it reopened yesterday in its new version.<\/p>\n

If the “Lum”<\/em> in the name was there for\u00a0Lumphini Park where the old market was, the new market is\u00a0installed\u00a0in the district of Chatuchak at the Ratchada-Lat Phrao intersection\u00a0not far from Lat Phrao MRT station.<\/p>\n

We wonder if\u00a0this new avatar of Suan Lum will\u00a0lost a little of its popular side that many loved in the original version. But\u00a0its 125,000 square meters should accommodate 1,800 stores selling OTOP products, art and crafts, fashion, ornaments and food. Most former sellers will probably come. There will also be magic and cabaret shows, a fitness center, a boxing gym and a water park …. and McDonalds !<\/p>\n

Suan Lum Night Bazaar Ratchadaphisek will be open every evening from 4 p.m.\u00a0to midnight.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The orginal \u00a0Suan Lum Night Bazaar had closed in 2011, 10 years after its opening, after his lease agreement with the Crown Property Bureau has expired. The Suan Lum Night Bazaar Ratchadaphisek<\/strong> aims to attract a lot of visitors including foreign visitors and regain the popularity of its predecessor. We wish him to succeed !<\/p>\n

And if the promise to redreate\u00a0the atmosphere of the old Lumphini night market is held, it is a real Christmas present for all the nostalgics of Suan Lum Night Bazaar ! I will wait a little before checking the new market myself\u00a0and\u00a0I’ll give you my opinion on this blog.<\/p>\n
