Many videos and pictures of the fireball circulate on social networks since then.<\/p>\n<p>The fireball and its long white tail looked exactly like what we see in disaster movies. Since no\u00a0plane crash has been reported in the skies of Thailand, it was probably\u00a0a meteorite.<\/p>\n<p><em>Here is a video filmed by a \u00a0car camera (see 0:47)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rOoKv2OMpOw?rel=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>If \u00a0the fireball\u00a0was spotted in Bangkok, \u00a0it seems it hit earth far from Bangkok\u00a0because there was no noise heard at the time of impact with the ground. For cons,<strong> inhabitants of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/en\/cities\/kanchanaburi\" target=\"_blank\">Kanchanaburi<\/a> province, about 200 kilometers from Bangkok<\/strong>, also reported having seen and heard a thunderous explosion then.<\/p>\n<p>A rescue team was sent to locate the scene of the explosion.<\/p>\n<p>Aeronautical Radio Of Thailand said there\u00a0was no aircraft accident and told\u00a0that this could be a small meteorite. This was confirmed a little later by M. Posayachinda Sarun, deputy director of the National Astronomical Research Institute.<\/p>\n<p>For now, we have no information on the precise location\u00a0where the meteorite (or whatever it was)\u00a0hit\u00a0the earth . We hope nobody was hurt.
