{"id":2056,"date":"2015-01-06T09:29:20","date_gmt":"2015-01-06T07:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/blog\/en\/?p=2056"},"modified":"2015-01-06T10:01:50","modified_gmt":"2015-01-06T08:01:50","slug":"thailand-launch-2015-discover-thainess-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/blog\/en\/index.php\/2056-thailand-launch-2015-discover-thainess-campaign","title":{"rendered":"Thailand to launch \u201c2015 Discover Thainess\u201d campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has scheduled the grand opening celebration of the \u201c2015 Discover Thainess\u201d campaign for 14 January, 2015, with a range of events including a colourful parade and extravagant performances to be held in the heart of Bangkok.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5071\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thailandee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/discover-thainess-600x351.jpg\" alt=\"discovert ahiness Thailande\" width=\"600\" height=\"351\" \/><\/p>\n<p>TAT Governor Mr. Thawatchai Arunyik said, <em>\u201cWe would like to invite all tourists and tourism industry stakeholders as well as members of the public to take part in the range of extravagant celebrations marking the launch of the \u201c2015 Discover Thainess\u201d campaign. We have scheduled a host of events that are specially designed to showcase \u201cThainess\u201d, or the distinct character of the Thai people and our unique culture.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The grand opening celebration of the<strong> \u201c2015 Discover Thainess\u201d<\/strong> campaign is scheduled to take place on 14 January, from 6pm in front of the Siam Discovery Centre. Among the various activities, at 5pm the spectacular parade will start from the National Stadium at the Pathumwan Intersection and wind its colourful way along Rama I Road to the Ratchaprasong Intersection before turning into Ratchadamri Road and conclude at Lumpini Park.<\/p>\n<p>The<em> \u201c2015 Discover Thainess\u201d<\/em> campaign incorporates the current Thai government\u2019s 12 national core values, among which are the promotion and preservation of Thai traditions and culture.
