For them, Chiang Mai is the number 1 destination to celebrate New Year, Hua Hin comes second. Bangkok is only 3rd.

It is true that if the biggest party in Thailand to celebrate the New Year is the famous Central World Countdown Party in Bangkok, Chiang Mai festivities are a little more friendly, I think. Thais also choose their destination for its setting and not just for the New Year’s Eve party because they have 5 days holidays for the occasion.

No need to say that if you plan to be in Chiang Mai or Hua Hin or other destinations like Koh Larn, Sangkhlaburi to name a few, it is better to book your hotel in advance ! The prices also tend to rise at that time of the year.

[3

post-2044","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-thailand-news
["GET
